We can’t claim to be a super festival hub here at the yard… but in our own way (apart from trying to get out and about when we can)… it has been great to vicariously (and is always great) to meet the people that trickle in here during the festival down times to have a poke about and sometimes source bits and pieces! One of those folk that we really enjoyed getting to know, was Leeroy New… Manila based artist, whose temporary sculptural installation ‘La Puerta Del Laberinto’, can still be seen at the entrance to the Castlemaine Art Museum. Made up of collected materials from our community… Leeroy found plenty to get started with here at the yard.
